I really dig this webapp. It takes the three most prominent communication tools I use and seamlessly integrates them into one super cool webapp. I'm usually more of a desktop client type of guy but Threadsy is an excellent alternative. The security issues others have brought up Dont bother me all that much because Threadsy is basically an email client and in order for that to work properly, you'll most likely be giving up your creds. Don't like it? Don't use it. Simple as that. I'm really excited about Threadsy and hope to see it expanded into the iPhone/desktop app arena though I'm sure the pupose of the webapp is to actually replace those things. Keep up the good work Threadsy!

I have used Threadsy for about a week now and have grown to love it for the following aspects: unified inbox for multiple Gmail accounts and for multiple Twitter accounts. I can use one search request to look for emails across accounts. I can post status updates to my Twitter accounts and Facebook. Setup and daily usage is quick and easy. HOWEVER, I do have some issues with it. I'm not thrilled with having to type my login info each day because it can't remember my login (web app). Unlike TweetDeck (which I use at the same time), it is not very clear which Twitter account(s) will receive my tweet. I have to click a dropdown to see. In a rush, I have sent to the wrong account. I have had issues with other services when I tried to authenticate and they didn't know which account I was intending because I was logged into them all. Also, the email inbox shows no indication of which account each message came from. A simple notation would be nice. In short, the power of being logged in with multiple identities also means that there is a responsibility for Threadsy to make it clear what identity I am using to communicate with at each action. TweetDeck handles this with check boxes that are always evident. I have high hopes for a client that can aggregate all of my communication IDs while honoring the separation that warrants multiple IDs in the first place. For now, I will use a few apps concurrently. PS - add LinkedIn and Plaxo status to my "unbound" list.

Threadsy works superbly well . The integration of your inbox messages from twitter , gmail accounts and facebook is seamless. A joy to use .

I love the combo of email and streams (twitter, FB, IMs etc) on one page.

Threadsy is my new go-to; since I started using it a few weeks ago, I rarely open my web-mail portals, Facebook, or any other twitter apps. The fact that when I click on an email, it shows that person's other social sites and a stream of their activity is great - I get a relevant snapshot of their activities and recent interests, so I can add relevant info into my communications. It's reasons like this that I see Threadsy's integrated views are changing the way I think about consolidated cross-platform communication: it encapsulates the sum.

Huge fan of Threadsy - keep it open at all times and pulls in all my emails, Twitter (multiple accounts) and Facebook on into their great UI. And, with the new features they just rolled out, it keeps getting better. I like this application because its more than just Twitter.

I really like threadsy. it's by far the best tool out there for people that use email, facebook & twitter extensively. The fact that you get all three streams on one interface is a huge convenience. they also do a really nice job in pulling out the important messages from my facebook/twitter stream into my inbox, so i don't need to worry about missing anything coming from there. Bottom line, one look at one screen gives me what used to take 3 browser tabs and 20 minutes. And the app is beautifully designed and fun to work with.

Much more than just a twitter App threadsy pulls together email, facebook, twitter and more than 40 other social services into a single integrated experience. I live in this app. Highlights of the twitter integration are automatic expansion of Bit.ly, TwitPic, YFrog and Facebook links as well as an excellent multi-account tweet box with a very slick bit.ly shortening experience.

I LOVE IT! I love having all of my e-mail and Twitter and Facebook in the same place. It's so easy and organized and pretty. I would LOVE to see more setting options like on/off sound toggle, the ability to select more than one account like viewing only two of three Twitter accounts or two of four e-mail accounts. Also, it would be awesome if you could toggle Twitter accounts for RTs. But having everything in one place is really awesome. I'm having to still use Hootsuite for some of the things I mentioned above, and I would love to one day be able to completely switch to just threadsy. What do you think, threadsy? Make my dreams come true?

is waiting for the next release! For now, it works well, and I don't need to switch between Gmail-Twitter-Facebook tabs anymore. Still have several issues (check my tweets about @threadsy), but maybe the next release will give it one more star from me :)

Interesting and like concept of adding email to the mix, but want more customization-- for example, on Seesmic Desktop I have access to Twitter lists, which I monitor frequently, as well as multiple Facebook Pages.

Ditto Kevin M's assessment. Some privacy issues foreseen here, and I don't really need this for email, but rather for hundreds of socnets only - no way to skip email portion (I already route all email to Gmail). I'll come back and look for changes though.

It does a nice job of cross-connecting email and twitter accounts, but loses gmail's conversation threading, and doesn't de-dupe people who crosspost to Twitter and Facebook. Now updated to use Twitter OAuth and Facebook Connect, which is much better than demanding passwords. Great update to use IMAP XOAUTH so it no longer needs your gmail password, and is looking very useful. If it adopted Activity Streams and thus added support for Buzz, MySpace, Microsoft Live etc, this could be a really powerful tool.
