This is an *Awesome* tool! From the second I got to the site, everything was easy and intuitive. I created my first screencast easily and instantly knew how to go back and make it better. They make it easy to share too with mp4 download capabilities and youtube upload abilities. I highly recommend this tool to anyone looking to do a screencast. I guarantee you'll decide to do more screencasts than you first thought simply because it's so easy.

I am a community college instructor and I find Screenr the easiest, fastest, high quality screen capture software I have ever used. And it posts to Twitter, plus converts into relatively small MPEG4 files.What I would like to do now is put close-captioning within the videos. I am going to run a workshop on how to use it, but it is so simple they won't believe it. When I show the IT techies they were very impressed, plus it's free.

I've use Screenr for several tutorials on using WordPress.com and it is easy to use, only spins an occasional furball, and best of all, it's free. I love that it creates HD quality video and has three different publication options - Post to Screenr, Post to YouTube, and Download MP4. If you're in a hurry, the post to YouTube feature work well and if you want to customize things the Download MP4 works fine. The biggest drawback is that the videos all get posted to Screenr. I'd use it to create tutorials for our Intranet but there is far too much sensitive information to have it also available on the Screenr site.
