RiotVine

Was crazy... first time I used RiotVine I found a show going on that night that I had NO idea about. Worst part was by the time I saw it (that day) it was already sold out! Darn it I should have been using RiotVine everyday!! It's a pretty neat site and totally helps find cool events going on in your city. Thumbs up.

For organizers: A solid event landing page that pulls in an event's tweet stream, connects all those involved. For music-holics: An event sharing/discovery tool that taps into your local network. I definitely plan to use RiotVine to help me navigate SXSW. [Disclosure: friend of the developer]

Great app for staying on top of shows in my area - really easy to see what's coming up next and add it to my calendar, and puts all the relevant info in one place - when, where, cost, videos, tweets, etc. Twitter interface allows me to see who's going to what shows, and allows me to share events with my friends. Great concept, intuitive interface, awesome execution!

Great site for organizing an event and inviting your friends or finding out where your friends are headed. Awesome integration with foursquare let's you know how many have checked in and the oh-so-crucial M/F ratio.

I run a nightclub, and RiotVine was recently integrated into our marketing efforts. Its hard to explain (concisely) why it is so good, but give it a try. Register, put your event up, and see what happens. You'll see that it creates an obvious bridge connecting promoters, fans, and the entire ecosystem, in a way that was not previous possible. I can see this app catching on bigtime, especially with some of the other functionality that they're working on.
