Nambu for Mac

I love Nambu! They are very fast to integrate new features when Twitter releases them (such as Lists and Retweets while maintaining traditional RT as well), and they create their own features to add even more value (I particularly like Groups and their Bookmarklet for shortening URLs & tweeting in one click). It's a great native Mac client and a pleasure to use.

Nambu keeps getting better and better. They are listening to user feedback and doing a good job keeping up on the development front. Latest example: incorporating twitter List functionality while maintaining an equally useful Groups feature. I'd recommend Mac users check this program out.

Even though it's in beta, it's already hands down the best twitter client for Mac, by far. I was a tweetie for mac user, and liked it, but it's now gone from my hard drive. Nambu's ability to track conversations is better implemented than tweetie, and the convenience of having the option to view all your feeds - friends, mentions, searches, DMs, lists - in one column is fantastic. No more switching between columns if you don't want to. (And it's customizable, so, for example, you can choose not to see lists in the "all" view.) It's got tons of other features as well (URL previews, photo previews, username auto-complete, etc.), and it's fast as hell. When I used tweetie I would always end up keeping twitter.com open because it updated more quickly - not so with Nambu. And, finally, they're great at responding to user questions @nambucom, which is always nice whether you're dealing with a beta or a final release. If you're not using Nambu, you're seriously missing out.

I got tired of all ugly AIR apps out their, and came across this one. I was looking for a native Mac app that had all the features of Tweetdeck, and Nambu comes the closest. It UI fits nicely in the Mac environment, and more importantly for me, is not a resource hog. It correctly syncs my teitter stream, and in sent items, even inlcudes my posts from twitter.com; as opposed to other clients that only include posts sent from that app. The conversation view is pretty nice, and shortened URL preview is key showing the domain it leads to. What Nambu does need is the ability to view users and add followers from the app itself. Currently, it opens the user's profile in a browser. And posting to multiple accounts would also be a nice feature as well. Over all, a clean, simple, and stale app.

I am using Nambu for Mac OS X since its first version has been released and I love it! There is only one feature missing: ReadItLaterList integration. The user experience is not beatable! And I love the rapid update cycle where many user reported issues get fixed very fast and new useful features are added.

Love Nambu! Been using it for a few months and the updates have been coming fast and great to see it out of private beta. Great for multiple accounts. If you use Twitter on a mac, you should try Nambu!

Nambu is the best Mac Twitter client out there. I particularly like the Mac Mail type UI option. (Nambu gives you 3 different views to choose between). The developers are very quick to add new features and fix bugs when Twitter changes things. I really recommend you give it a try

Nambu FTW. Stop using those old and obsolete twitter clients and jump to a greener grass with Nambu. The "guess" of usernames when you are trying to write a mention/DM, totally made my tweets. Download now.

I am using Nambu as my primary Twitter client, it is fast and it has a lot of features. I have also tried other clients, but nothing can beat Nambu!

The latest beta versions are far and away the best Twitter experience on a Mac to date.

After trying a variety of twitter clients for the Mac I settled on Nambu. It's still in beta and they've been releasing updates and minor bug fixes quite quickly. They are also quite responsive to their user base. As far as I'm concerned for the Mac it's far better than tweetdeck, or seesmic or anything else out there that I've tried.

Nambu is the best full-featured social media client I have tried on Mac OS X. It integrates multiple social-media platforms (I use Twitter and Facebook) and is architected to provide a multi-OS-and-device-platform experience, a critical capability in a multi-device, information-loaded world. I love the fact that it breaks out Twitter's lists as well as providing its own Groups, that are invaluable for cross-platform (across Twitter and FB) management. Eric is a gifted leader with tremendous vision and I expect to see Nambu, and him, achieve tremendous success. I whole-heartedly recommend Nambu as the app-of-choice in OS X.

Love Nambu. Found it as an app that could run two simultaneous acc, and it only got better and better. Hands down for the 2.x version. Even if I don't use two acc anymore, can't handle those AIR apps. Whatever your twitter client can do, my Nambu does better (and yes, within the time most Nambu users - like me - developed a passionate relationship with the company/product that is unusual for a tiny piece of software like this).

Great app. Like the way my lists are displayed. Currently the best twitter client. Hope an iphone app is in the making. One onte: 4 some strange reason the name 'nambu' seems hard to remember. Nambu is without doubt the best Twitter client available for the Mac. It makes tracking people on Twitter easy, the auto-complete feature rules, it has a terrific look and feel, and it makes adding a URL or image to a tweet an easy experience. The fact that it keeps getting updated constantly, and that it's still free, make using this client a no brainer. Forget the rest, Nambu is the best

Nambu is by far the UI in the business! I have tried a lot of them and by far Nambu is the best! Great job with the updates and keep up the good work!!

I use Nambu for business. That is, I use for B2B tweeting as I tweet for 9 different accounts every day. For me, Nambu is the almost perfect twitter desktop application. Groups are especially useful.

Good enough to take the time out from a busy day to say so. The BEST Twitter App out there. Really, support these guys.
