Echofon for Firefox

I LOVE this app though. It's easier than going to twitter, logging in, etc, right when you can click the circle, see all updates, and send a tweet. It's perfect.

I tried this app for a while. I really liked it better as TwitterFox. It seemed like when they did the big TwitterFox to Echofon change a lot happened. Now, when you get the little pop-up notifications, if you're not on the firefox/flock browser then this browser will come to the front and disrupt everything you were doing just to give you this one stupid little pop-up. This I found to be the most annoying thing in the whole world! When it was TwitterFox it didn't have this problem. This annoying little issue only started when it became Echofon. Also, if you're one of those who looks at names like I am then Echofon isn't the best name choice either. it was great as TwitterFox. I loved that name. Echofon is just like...What? So I don't like the name at all. I guess it's a nice app. It's up-to-date, does everything you need, easy to use, works great with both FireFox browser and Flock. So it's nice. There are just some things that I personally don't like about it.

I might soon give up on this. There hasn't been any useful updates in a long while. It seriously needs group or filters. The support is not very enthusiastic. I don't like AIR apps so I've been hooked on this Firefox Add-on.

Firefox version: Very handy when browsing web pages just sits at the bottom, would love to see search.

I use it on the mobile. Fast, reliable & tons of options. Best looking interface and i've tried most of them.

I've been using Echofon (aka Twitterfox and Twitterfon) for awhile - I believe from the first or early versions. Twitterfon was once a free iPhone application, and now it is free with annoying advertisements. And Twitterfox, well, that hasn't improved either. I haven't seen a version of any part of Echofon that was better than the initial releases.

Cool in Firefox, but a little bit buggy.

Nice, clean, easy-to-use. In my own personal opinion, it looks a bit TOO clean, to almost clinical; but I'm the type of person who would be very quick to slate it if it was cluttered with fancy images and unnecessary pages to flip through. Have the free version on my iTouch (even the advert bar isn't so in-your-face as some free apps, which is thoughtful!) and although it's the least used of the Twiiter-apps that I have, it certainly doesn't mean that its any less functional or practical.

Definitely better with the TwitterFox -> Echofon change.

I'm with @dougwt - Hands down the best Twitter client for the iPhone. Keeps getting better. Very responsive developer who obviously cares. Great little tweaks here and there. Horizontal browsing, photo integration, ReadItLater/Instapaper integration... Free and Pro versions both great. Pro features I'm smitten over: Push notifications, multiple client timeline sync (timeline picks up where you left off when Tweeting from different locations, i.e. phone and desktop). They have a native Mac client in the works. If it's as good as the mobile app, it will absolutely rock. Killer app. I've tried all of the others. Always come back to this.

Simple, functional, convenient. A practical FFX app.

Simple but functional app for iPhone/iPod touch with a free version, uses different tabs or "sections" to show your timeline, replies, diret messages, etc., url shortening, mail, and everything the common user will need...

It's a great program, but I HATE how they made the windows version look like mac! Absolutely stupid!

I absolutely love the Firefox addon for this. Great job echofon!

Simply the best twitter client for the iPhone.
